Middle West Spirits, the latest local distillery in Ohio Liquor’s barrel pick program that selects special spirits to sell throughout the state, is now a part of the program. Middle West Spirits will be offering a limited-edition single barrel bourbon, and a single barley rye. Ohio Liquor will have the bottles available starting on May 22. Land-Grant Brewing Company and Jeni's Ice Creams are once again teaming up to host the annual Strawberry Jam at Franklinton's craft brewery. Live music and kid-friendly events are scheduled during the daytime. Strawberry-themed food and merchandise will be available from many vendors.
