A famous river in Paris will be a highlight of the upcoming Olympics, hosting events such as the triathlon and the opening ceremony. The triathlon will start at Pont Alexandre III Bridge, with athletes swimming 1.5 kilometers, followed by a 40K bike race and a 10K run through the city. Despite efforts to clean up the river, recent testing has shown that the water quality is still not safe for swimming due to high levels of E. Coli bacteria. The authorities are working to improve the water quality before the Games begin.
