Datsyuk, Weber headline 2024 Hockey Hall of Fame class
The Hockey Hall of Fame has announced its latest class of inductees. Pavel Datsyuk, Shea Weber, Jeremy Roenick, Krissy Wendell-Pohl, Natalie Darwitz, Colin Campbell, and David Poile will be honored in November. Five of the inductees are players, while the other two are considered builders. Datsyuk, a former Detroit Red Wings player, achieved induction in his first year of eligibility. Weber played for the Nashville Predators and Montreal Canadiens, while Roenick played for multiple teams during his career. Wendell-Pohl and Darwitz were standout players for the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the U.S. national women’s team, respectively. Campbell and Poile made significant contributions in management and coaching roles. This year’s class is notable for featuring two women inducted together, a first since 2010. The induction ceremony will take place on November 11.
