Iconic 'Sex and the City' Parisian-style restaurant set to debut in Miami
This weekend, the Wynwood location of Pastis will open.

This weekend, James Beard Award winners Keith McNally, Stephen Starr, and their New York City Parisian style brasserie Pastis will open in Miami's Wynwood district.
Starr Restaurants, based in Philadelphia, will open Pastis on Sunday April 30 for dinner. The French restaurant is 8,000 square foot and located at 380 N.W. 26th St. is near the Wynwood garage and Zak the Baker.
Pastis was a popular choice for celebrities and appeared on HBO's "Sex and the City" during the 2000s. McNally and Starr reopened a NYC location in 2019, after the original one closed in 2014.
Since the last few year, I have had my eye on Wynwood. Starr stated that he had seen the neighborhood's transformation from a vibrant, artistic area into a cultural hub with thriving dining. Since opening my first South Florida Restaurant in 2009, the culinary scene in this city has exploded and I am thrilled to be part of it. Pastis Miami is a great addition to the local community.
Pastis Miami will feature a courtyard and garden. The restaurant has a capacity of 179 inside and 114 outdoors.
Pastis will be the fifth Starr Restaurant in South Florida. It will serve dishes similar to those served in its sister restaurant in New York City, and offer a large French wine list. Starr Restaurants also has El Vez and Steak 954, both in Fort Lauderdale and Le Zoo and Makoto, both in Bal Harbour.
Pastis is the latest in a wave of New York-based culinary concepts that has restaurateurs flocking South Florida. It was originally scheduled to open in Miami by 2021.
