From an Airbnb Stay at Barbie's Malibu DreamHouse to Frozen Yogurt Flavors and Park Benches—The 'Barbie' Movie Team Is Going All In on Marketing
Here's a look at some of the outrageous Barbie collaborations ahead of Greta Gerwig's forthcoming movie, "Barbie."

A strange Airbnb listing appeared on Monday. The "Barbie Malibu DreamHouse", hosted by "Ken", will be available for two one-night stays (for free) on July 21 and 22. The hillside mansion is the latest promotional stunt for Greta Gerwig’s upcoming movie Barbie.
The mansion is bright pink and features an infinity swimming pool, a workout area, an outdoor dancefloor and access to Ken's wardrobe.
Instead of real-life photos of the house, the listing features a miniature model of the mansion. Images of the California mansion were leaked. John Schreiber, a photojournalist, tweeted that the hot pink house could be seen from ten miles away while flying over Malibu.
Booking will open at 10 am PT Monday, July 17 and accommodates up to two guests. (Guests are responsible for making their own travel arrangements from and to Malibu).

The marketing of Gerwig's new film, which features stars such as Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling along with Will Ferrell, has been a huge success across all industries.
The internet is unable to get enough of Barbie products, thanks to collaborations with Mattel, the Barbie manufacturer, and other brands. One user tweeted: "The devil is hard at work, but Barbie's Marketing Team is INSANE."
Social media continues to be awash with attention about the campaigns. From making fun of some of their stunts, to embracing the pink fun, to criticizing capitalism.
It doesn't matter if people like it or dislike it. They still talk about it.
